Well, we have started IVF. Throughout the last few weeks I have been on multiple medications to assist my body in producing multiple eggs at once. The egg retrieval was successful on Thursday and my body produced 20 eggs. After a thorough evaluation on Fri, we found that 9 eggs were immature and unable to be fertilized. Out of the remaining 11, 1 egg did not fertilize, and 1 egg developed abnormal. Therefore, we are left with 9 successfully fertilized eggs. Which is great :o) As of today, the eggs are developing normally and growing great. 2 eggs will be implanted back inside of me on Tuesday (11/22). On Dec 1st, I will be able to take a blood work test to determine if I am pregnant. It has been a crazy road but things are looking good.
